Full – Time Cover Supervisor – Eastleigh, Hampshire

This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or those with a genuine interest in supporting young learners within a school environment. The role offers flexibility, allowing you to choose the days you wish to work, with full-time availability (5 days per week) for those seeking consistency.

Cover Supervisor Responsibilities:


  • Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring a calm and productive learning environment.
  • Deliver pre-prepared work set by subject teachers and manage classroom behaviour effectively.
  • Support students in understanding tasks and staying focused on their learning.
  • Communicate professionally with teaching staff and support the wider school community.
  • Uphold the school’s policies, values, and safeguarding standards at all times.


Cover Supervisor Requirements:


  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage with students effectively.
  • A genuine passion for education and helping young people succeed.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and reliability – able to adapt to different school environments and subjects.
  • Ideally suited for graduates or aspiring teachers looking to gain classroom experience.
  • Hold an enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
