The Contracts Engineer will support contract management and compliance within the Excellence & Compliance Department. The role ensures that contract drafting, administration, and monitoring processes align with internal policies, operational excellence standards, and corporate governance requirements.


2. Qualifications & Experience


Education:




  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, or related field) or Business (Contracts/Procurement).




Experience:




  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in contract management/administration within the oil and gas industry.




Technical Knowledge:




  • In-depth knowledge of procurement and contract law.




  • Experience in contractor KPI tracking (HSE, quality, operational excellence).




Standards & Systems:




  • Strong understanding of the Operational Excellence (OE) framework.




  • Proficiency in SAP or equivalent contract administration systems.




Preferred Exposure:




  • Experience in tendering, bid evaluation, contract award, and change management.

  • Manage the tendering process, including bid evaluation and contract award.

  • Support contractor performance monitoring, KPI tracking, and compliance reporting.




  • Collaborate with legal, procurement, and operational teams to resolve contract-related issues.




  • Maintain accurate contract documentation within SAP and related systems.
