Children and young people with attentional difficulties are

prescribers who work within this sub- team and have plans to further develop
this provision within the team.

Young people presenting with immediate risk are assessed by
the childrens Crisis Team which operates 24 hr cover soon, seven days a
week. Medical staff provide daytime medical cover and out of hours through the
on-call rota. The CAMHS intensive home treatment team and Intensive Positive
Behaviour Support team offer intensive home treatment to a small number of
children and young people in crisis to prevent admission or to support after
discharge from Inpatient units. There is access to Holly unit for out of the

About us

We are one of the largest specialist mental health and learning disabilities trusts in the country, with an annual income of £320m and a workforce of some 6,700 staff operating from around 100 sites in Durham, Teesside, North Yorkshire and York and Selby. We provide a range inpatient and community services to 2m people living in County Durham, the Tees Valley, Scarborough, Whitby, Ryedale, Harrogate, Hambleton and Richmondshire. We also provide additional specialist services to other parts of Northern England.

We deliver our services by working in partnership with eight local authorities and clinical commissioning groups, a wide range of voluntary organisations, as well as service users, their carers and the public.

Psychiatrists are essential
contributors to the majority of our mental health teams. Service users expect
and are justified to expect collaborative relationships with dedicated
psychiatrists who work consistently as part of effective services. Our medical
staffing shortage puts strain on services and puts strain on workforce
wellbeing and costs extend beyond the financial. The Medical Directorate and
Medical Development Team are striving to improve medical workforce recruitment
and retention in a variety of ways and the cornerstone of these efforts is The
TEWV Charter for the Medical Workforce. (Please see attached Supporting
Document).

The Trust welcomes a conversation about flexible working.

Why Cyber Security Careers in the UK Are Becoming More Multidisciplinary

Cyber security used to be viewed primarily as a technical discipline: firewalls, encryption, intrusion detection, penetration testing. In the UK today, it’s far broader. Organisations now face complex legal frameworks, ethical dilemmas, human-behaviour risks, communication challenges & usability hurdles. This shift means cyber security careers are becoming more multidisciplinary. From protecting NHS patient records to defending financial services, securing supply chains & safeguarding national infrastructure, cyber security now touches every sector. Employers increasingly want professionals who understand law, ethics, psychology, linguistics & design alongside traditional technical skills. In this article, we’ll explore why UK cyber security careers are expanding in this way, how these five disciplines shape the profession, and what job-seekers & employers need to know to thrive in this new landscape.

Cyber Security Team Structures Explained: Who Does What in a Modern Cyber Security Department

Cyber security has become a top priority for UK organisations of all sizes. From small businesses to financial institutions, healthcare providers, and government bodies, the risk of cyber attack is now a constant concern. Threats are more sophisticated, regulations more demanding, and customers more aware of data privacy than ever before. But defending against cyber threats isn’t simply about having the right tools — it’s about having the right team. A modern cyber security department relies on clearly defined roles and responsibilities to ensure that defences are proactive, incidents are managed swiftly, and compliance is maintained. This article explains the structure of a modern cyber security team, the roles you’ll typically find within it, how they collaborate, and what skills, qualifications, and salaries are expected in the UK job market.
