In this flexible and active role, you can pick and choose your shifts as you please. And you can even choose WHERE to work, with the opportunity open for you to work at any one of our 5,000+ venues across the UK.


Please note, the majority of the sites requiring Barista support in Reading are Monday to Friday operations


Role responsibilities

Daily tasks may include:

  • Providing a friendly and enthusiastic service
  • Preparing perfectly blended drinks and serving high-quality food that delights our customers
  • Keeping the counter area clean & tidy
  • Being an enthusiastic team player and excellent communicator
  • Maintaining stock of clean mugs and plates
  • Restocking cupboards and fridges
  • Learning about brewing methods, beverage blends, food preparation and presentation techniques
  • Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs
  • Conducting quality checks


Requirements

  • Must possess previous Barista experience
  • Have Hands-on experience with brewing equipment, "bean to cup" trained
  • The ability to remain calm during high-volume periods
  • Enthusiastic & energetic
  • Excellent teamwork skills
  • Good initiative when working
  • Demonstrate exceptional timekeeping and reliability
  • As an active role, you must be comfortable with walking and standing during the majority of your shift.
