Job Summary:

TheArtificial Intelligence (AI) Security Engineerwill be responsible for leading the development and implementation of security strategies for our artificial intelligence (AI) systems. In this role, you will design and deploy robust security measures to protect AI models, data, and infrastructure from cyber threats, adversarial attacks, and vulnerabilities. You will collaborate with AI researchers, software engineers, and security teams to ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of AI-driven solutions.

You will then implement these principles in the deployment of our internally developed AI Solutions for Security helping us to understand data better through pattern recognition and neural networks. Developing solutions helping all business segments to fully understand risks and security within the product run time.

Position Overview:

Siemens Software (DI SW) is looking for a highly skilled and experienced leader reporting to the Director of Security Innovation & Automation. TheArtificial Intelligence (AI) Security Engineerwill play a critical role in developing and implementing security frameworks for AI models, algorithms, and datasets while collaborating across the product teams and Product Solution & Security Officers (PSSO).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Director of Security Innovation & Automation in all aspects of Artificial Intelligence (AI) security while ensuring security in the product “run time” space.

  • Develop and implement security frameworks for AI models, algorithms, and datasets.

  • Automate the governance of our internal and external AI Models

  • Automate the security of our internal and external AI Models

  • Conduct risk assessments and threat modeling for AI systems to mitigate potential vulnerabilities.

  • Lead research and innovation in adversarial attack detection and AI security defenses.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into AI applications.

  • Develop Security tooling to accelerate our security posture forward and scaling upwards by becoming a force multiplier through automation and AI

  • Analyze AI security incidents, conduct forensic investigations, and implement protective measures.

  • Develop tools to monitor AI security risks and detect anomalies in model behavior.

  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and security standards for AI governance.

  • Mentor and train engineers in AI security principles and best practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, AI, or at least 8+ years of equivalent professional experience

  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with expertise in AI security.

  • Deep understanding of machine learning, neural networks, and adversarial attacks.

  • Proficiency in cryptographic techniques and secure AI model development.

  • Proficiency in python, GoLang, TypeScript or equivalent Cloud Languages

  • Strong experience with penetration testing, threat intelligence, and security auditing.

  • Familiarity with frameworks such as NIST AI Risk Management and Secure AI development guidelines.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in high-stakes security environments.

  • Experience in developing and enhancing SaaS Security in a large enterprise landscape

  • Strong communication and leadership skills to guide security initiatives across teams.

Siemens Software.Transform the Everyday

The salary range for this position is $177,000 to $318,600 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
