Robert Half Finance & Accounting are partnering with a leading Media Company in London to recruit an immediate, Interim Accountant for 3 months.

Role:

Our client is looking for an immediate, Interim Accountant to assist them for 3 months. You be will be responsible for following duties:

  • Manage and perform all North American accounting functions including transactions posting, customer billing, A/R, A/P, GL postings, cost accounting, and revenue recognition
  • Reconciliation of balance sheet, P&L and all intercompany recharges
  • Produce monthly financial statements, perform variance analysis and provide commentaries
  • Oversee tax functions for the US and Canada liaising with our external tax accountants and ensuring all necessary tax filings are completed in time
  • Production of year end audit files for both US and Canada Companies and support head office and parent company with the statutory audit
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements; filing financial reports
  • Maintain internal control processes and ensure the system and processes are efficient operating and utilised within the company
  • Manage relationships with bankers, auditors, and tax authorities
  • Lead monthly account reviews for US and Canada, working with VP Finance & Reporting to ensure management accounts and reporting supports overall reporting vision
  • Support group HR team with monthly payroll processing when needed
  • Provide ad hoc operational support for the office and HR

Profile:

The successful Interim Accountant will either be Part qualified or newly qualified experience.

You must be immediate or 1 weeks notice to be considered for this role.

Salary & Benefits:

This Interim Accountant role will be paying circa £21-£25 per hour, dependant on experience.
